Eshel Zilberstein, the 19-year-old Air Force cadet who went missing over the weekend and was found alive and well in Eilat, will likely be expelled from flight school, Ynet learned Monday.
Zilberstein was reported missing on Sunday, sparking a massive nation-wide search involving hundreds of soldiers, police officers and volunteers.

He was eventually spotted in an Eilat café by a team of the Israel Prison Service's Nachshon Unit, who participated in the frantic search.
The Military Police launched an investigation into Zilberstein's actions, saying he may face various charges, including dereliction of duty and abandoning of a firearm.
The Air Force has also launched an investigation into Zilberstein's actions, saying his future in flight school was murky.
The IDF said that "Once he was located safe and sound, cadet Zilberstein remained at the Ovda Air Force Base under full supervision. He will return to his base where he will meet with professional and mental health military officials, who will assess his situation prior to the case going forward."
